Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of grant-writing experience.
• Proven success across public and private funding sources.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; ability to manage long-range deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with staff at all levels and providing technical assistance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Teams and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Write and manage approval of public and private partnership applications and donor reports.
• Coordinate proposal development activities across all YMCA departments, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Ensure funding proposals and reporting meet donor formats and standards (photos, media, etc.).
• Maintain knowledge of YMCA strategies to connect work across initiatives and departments.
• Lead cross-department coordination to obtain project updates for partnership reports.
• Design and develop visual presentation materials for partner proposals and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
