Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with a minimum of nine credits in accounting.
• GAAP knowledge and ability to apply basic analytical skills; capable of using office equipment and financial software.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to prepare and present working papers and supporting documentation.
• Selected candidates are eligible to participate in the Bargaining Unit (Union).

Responsibilities

• Generate, record and process invoices.
• Process funding entries for award closeouts.
• Identify sponsored projects that require initial reports of expenditures.
• Prepare initial reports of expenditures in compliance with award terms; meet deadlines.
• Make outbound communications with departments and outside customers professionally.
• Review and monitor assigned workflows.
• Compile data and prepare daily and monthly activity reports for management.
• Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports.
