Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with at least nine accounting credits.
Working knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply basic analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Entry level to mid-level accounting knowledge of grants and contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

Generate, record and process invoices.
Process funding entries for award closeouts.
Identify sponsored projects that require initial reports of expenditures.
Complete and distribute initial reports of expenditures in compliance with award terms and deadlines.
Make outbound communications with departments and outside customers professionally.
Review and monitor assigned workflows.
Compile data and prepare daily and monthly activity reports for management.
Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports.
Other billing duties as assigned.
