Mass General Brigham is seeking a grant administration professional to work with Principal Investigators and department administrators on submissions, budgeting, and financial compliance. You will monitor fund statements, resolve accounting issues, and serve as a liaison to grantors and subcontractors.

The role supports pre- and post-award activities, policies, and guidelines, with a focus on accurate financial data and sponsor requirements. This position allows remote work with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Financial Management or related field; Bachelor's in Financial Management preferred.
• Experience in research administration is required (1–2 years).
• No, experience cannot substitute for the degree.

Responsabilités

• Process and prepare research grant proposals, awards, and transactions, maintaining grant/contract records in compliance with sponsors.
• Assist with budgets, justifications, and materials for financial reporting.
• Review proposals for sponsor compliance; verify all sponsor requirements are met.
• Process purchase orders, manage accounts receivable/payable, and resolve accounting requests.
• Own and manage an assigned portfolio of research departments as the Pre-Award/Post-Award resource for department admins and PIs.
• Monitor expenditures and advise on cost allowability and budgetary compliance.
