Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Grants Administration Program Consultant to support a grants office and technical assistance program for state and local governments.

This contract-based role involves coordinating grant lifecycle activities and engaging diverse stakeholders. You will travel monthly to client sites in Wyoming as needed, while the majority of the work remains remote; the position emphasizes collaboration, compliance, and delivering practical solutions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university; preferred fields include public policy, public administration, social sciences, political science.
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting government programs, preferably state-level grant program management.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse public and private sector stakeholders to understand needs and provide practical solutions.
• Experience supporting grant administration, compliance monitoring, subrecipient oversight, or governance activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with political and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of technical assistance across the grant lifecycle, including grant identification, writing, and post-award compliance.
• Foster relationships with clients and collaborate across offices.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement a grants management office and technical assistance program.
• Engage diverse stakeholders to understand community needs and develop practical solutions.
• Develop and refine grants management resources, tools, and templates.
• Research federal and state grant requirements to inform guidance materials.
• Collaborate with team members to advance coordinated client objectives.
