Job summary

DETROIT WAYNE Integrated HEALTH Network is seeking a Grants Coordinator (Consultant) to manage the full lifecycle of federal, state, and local grants, from opportunity identification to closeout. You will work with program, finance, compliance, quality, data, procurement, and external partners to ensure funded activities are implemented effectively.

A key focus is administering MDHHS grants through the eGrAMS system, coordinating budgets, reporting, and compliance throughout grant periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, finance, healthcare administration, public health, behavioral health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of grant administration or related experience.
• Hands-on experience using MDHHS eGrAMS is required.
• Experience with grant budgets, reporting, compliance, and documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant applications, including narratives, work plans, budgets, budget justifications, and required attachments.
• Monitor and identify federal, state, and other grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Establish grant files, timelines, reporting calendars, and internal responsibilities.
• Monitor grant requirements, deliverables, deadlines, and award conditions throughout the grant period.
• Manage assigned MDHHS grants within eGrAMS.
• Complete and coordinate eGrAMS applications, awards, amendments, budget modifications, reports, documentation, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate required financial, programmatic, and performance reports.
• Track grant goals, objectives, deliverables, performance measures, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with Finance to monitor grant budgets, expenditures, balances, and spending rates.
