Job summary

StreetWise Partners seeks a Grant Manager (Independent Contractor) to build our pipeline and lead fundraising across foundation, corporate, and government funders. This remote US role reports to the Chief Development Officer and requires strong grant writing, prospect research, and budget alignment with finance.

Compensation is $75/hr for ~40 hours per month with no benefits. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in institutional fundraising, CRM proficiency, and a track record of converting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of institutional fundraising experience with grant writing and prospect research.
• Track record of converting proposals into funded partnerships.
• Experience building and defending grant budgets with finance.
• Fluency with CRM and project management tools, preferably Salesforce and Asana.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate prospect research and drafting workflows.
• Ability to work remotely as an independent contractor and manage a fast-paced pipeline.

Responsibilities

• 40%: Prospect development and portfolio management with funder dossiers.
• 35%: Proposal strategy, LOIs, proposals, and funder reports.
• 15%: Pipeline forecasting and reporting for leadership decisions.
• 10%: Strategic collaboration with program and finance; AI-enabled workflow adoption.
