Job summary

North South Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a skilled proposal writer and manager to develop high-quality proposals in response to government and commercial solicitations. You will oversee the entire proposal process, from requirements analysis to final submission, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and client needs.

This is a 100% remote role with occasional in-person meetings at our corporate office.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years in technical writing or proposal development in government contracting.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or related field.
Experience managing proposals from analysis to submission.

Responsibilities

Develop and write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase strengths.
Translate complex technical information into clear, reader-friendly content aligned with evaluation criteria.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, other teams, and project managers to ensure technical accuracy.
Edit and proofread proposal content for clarity, grammar, and a consistent professional tone.
Develop and maintain proposal schedules, meet milestones, and coordinate status meetings.
Research industry trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to enhance proposal content.
Maintain organized records of proposal content, templates, and past submissions for continuous improvement.
