Neumo in Illinois seeks a Proposal Specialist to own government RFx responses from intake through submission. You will coordinate SMEs across Sales, Product, Implementation, Security, Legal and Finance to produce compliant, persuasive proposals under tight deadlines.

This hands-on writing and project-management role suits detail-oriented professionals who can shape executive summaries, drafts, and cover letters while maintaining brand voice across responses.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proposal development experience for public sector solicitations.
• Ownership of RFP responses from release through submission.
• Familiarity with government procurement portals (Bonfire, OpenGov, BidNet, DemandStar).
• Experience with Salesforce and proposal content libraries (SharePoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own responses end to end—kickoff, schedule, SME assignments, reviews, and on-time submission.
• Build compliance matrices covering requirements, forms, and evaluation criteria.
• Draft, tailor, and edit content from Q&A library; support executive summaries and letters.
• Coordinate contributors across departments; track inputs and gaps.
• Perform QC for compliance, accuracy, and brand voice; verify pricing references.
• Identify risks (security, compliance, contracts) and route to Legal per process.
• Assemble final packages: formatting, signatures, notarizations, and uploads.
