Job summary

Commnet is seeking a Government Program Manager to oversee day-to-day government program compliance activities and drive streamlined filings and reports for federal and state funding programs.

The successful candidate will be collaborative with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, plus a mature professional attitude. Prior USF program compliance or broadband grant experience is required. This position can be remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in program management or related field.
• Experience working across legal, accounting, engineering or construction functions.
• Experience with legal documents, laws and regulations.
• Experience presenting executive summaries for approval.
• Experience managing deadlines and schedules.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry and E-Rate compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day internal point of contact for program management and guide on program rules.
• Review and document compliance requirements for grants and programs and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct billing/invoicing reviews and prepare reimbursements with supporting documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of services and funding programs related to fiber optic and wireless tech.
• Track requirements and deadlines; provide regular updates and support audits.
• Oversee compliance for broadband network expansion and reporting to federal authorities.
• Analyze data and produce high-level Excel reports (pivot tables, lookups).
• Perform additional duties as requested.
