Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Government Contract Specialist - Risk Mitigation based in the United States. The role leads contract strategy across government and commercial projects in energy and infrastructure, guiding negotiations, risk assessments, and governance through the deal lifecycle.

You will oversee government property management activities, audits, inventories, and regulatory reporting, while collaborating with Legal, Finance, Tax, EHS, Sales, Operations, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; extensive government/commercial contracting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related government contracting requirements.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual language.

Responsibilities

• Lead review of RFPs, contract terms, compliance matrices, assumptions, and proposal docs.
• Organize risk reviews and Deal Desk sessions across approval levels.
• Develop commercial terms and risk mitigation with Sales and Tendering.
• Own risk governance throughout the Inquiry-to-Order phase.
• Apply LEAN, win-loss analyses, and post-mortems to improve quality and cycle times.
• Lead complex contract negotiations aligning customer needs with objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MOUs, lien waivers, and related docs.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and flow-down obligations.
• Guide execution and handover of contracts into order-to-remittance.
• Maintain government property records per FAR 52.245 and conduct property audits.
• Coordinate government property disposition per contract requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for DCAA/DCMA audits on property management.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and costs.
• Monitor customer requirements and competition to strengthen strategies.
• Interface cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Tax, EHS, Sales, and Operations.
