Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Governance Engineer II for a remote role. You will turn enterprise API, data, security, and responsible AI policies into practical, automated governance solutions, enabling secure access to enterprise data and MCP resources.

Work with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to automate compliance, improve lifecycle management, and deliver self-service governance across APIs and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, API development, or related field.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting REST APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience implementing governance in CI/CD pipelines and automated checks.
• Knowledge of API security concepts (OAuth, authentication, authorization).
• Familiarity with governance-as-code, policy-as-code, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Translate policies into implementable API governance standards and reusable patterns.
• Maintain governance artifacts, references, and guidance.
• Collaborate with security, data, and architecture teams to automate governance.
• Develop guardrails for AI agents and enterprise data access.
• Integrate governance controls into CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
