Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Governance Engineer II - Remote to turn API, data, security, and Responsible AI policies into automated governance solutions. You will build governance-as-code, guardrails, and reusable standards to securely enable APIs and AI agents across enterprise data and MCP resources.

You will collaborate with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to automate compliance, lifecycle management, and monitoring while enabling teams to innovate responsibly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software eng, API development, or DevSecOps.
• Experience designing REST APIs and OpenAPI specs.
• Experience with CI/CD and governance-as-code practices.
• Knowledge of API security concepts (OAuth, auth, access controls).

Responsibilities

• Translate policies into implementable API governance standards and templates.
• Maintain governance artifacts and track compliance across teams.
• Define guardrails for AI agents to securely access APIs and data.
• Onboard APIs to enterprise catalogs and governance platforms.
• Integrate governance controls into CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
