Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Governance Engineer II to translate enterprise API, data, security, and responsible AI policies into practical, automated governance solutions. The role builds governance-as-code, guardrails, and reusable standards to securely access enterprise data and MCP resources.

You will work with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to automate compliance, lifecycle management, and monitoring while enabling teams to innovate responsibly at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering, API development, or DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Review API specifications and data contracts for alignment with standards and security.
• Translate policies into implementable standards, controls, and reusable patterns.
• Maintain governance artifacts and track compliance across teams.
• Establish engineering guardrails for AI agents discovering and using APIs.
• Integrate governance controls into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
