Job summary

MCI is seeking Political Call Center Representatives to support a Get Out The Vote effort. This remote, work-at-home role involves making outbound calls to encourage voting and delivering high-quality customer service and support.

Training is provided, with emphasis on reliability, communication, and issue resolution. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable representing a political organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with data-entry utilizing a computer.
• The ability to read and speak English fluently.
• Reliable wired high-speed internet connection (20Mbps+).
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute).
• Ability to work regular shifts including training period.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound contacts in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues.
• Research systems to find missing information and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Follow program scripts, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize systems to complete account management tasks.
• Document and process customer claims in appropriate systems.
• Escalate issues to the managerial staff as needed.
• Aim for first call resolution through effective problem solving.
