BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Director, Value Chain Product Leader to design, operate, and continually improve a best-in-class end-to-end product value chain, linking patients to medicines across clinical and commercial stages.

In this fully remote role (travel dependent, US-based), you will lead the Value Stream Team, partner with TOPS product teams and cross-functional partners, and drive lifecycle strategies, risk management, and performance metrics to ensure supply chain resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, engineering, supply chain or business administration.
• 8–12+ years in materials management/production planning/scheduling with 5–10+ years GMP/GCP pharma operations.
• 2–5+ years leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Executive-level communication and influence-based leadership.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end Value Chain Ownership: design, performance, and continuous improvement of the product value chain.
• Product Lifecycle & Strategy Execution: optimize lead time, cost, and resilience.
• Risk Management & Business Continuity: identify and mitigate supply risks.
• Financial & Performance Management: manage costs and product costing.
• Governance & Business Partnership: define operating model and partner with functions.
