Job summary

Tether is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee software delivery from initiation to completion. You will define scope, timelines, and deliverables; manage resources and budgets; mitigate risks; and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.

This role requires +5 years managing software development projects and hands-on software experience; strong DevOps, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum; and proficiency with Git, Asana, Confluence, and Slack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• +5 years managing software development projects.
• +5 years recent software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.
• Familiarity with Git, Asana, Confluence, Slack.
• Experience leading distributed/global teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Project Execution: monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage Stakeholder Communication: provide updates and ensure alignment.
• Help to Establish Project Scope: define objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
• Mitigate Risks and Resolve Issues: identify risks and unblock blockers.
• Coordinate Cross‑Functional Teams: align development, QA, product, and business.
• People Management and Team Development: coach and recruit as needed.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: implement lessons learned.
• Control Budgets and Costs: track expenditures within budget.
