Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of U.S. international tax and global advisory/compliance experience, ideally in blockchain, crypto, or high-growth environments.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. international tax rules and related reporting requirements, with ability to interpret guidance for novel business models.
• Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills for tax positions.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex workstreams, and prioritize in a fast-paced startup-like setting.

Responsibilities

• Support go-to-market efforts with practical global tax guidance on novel tax matters.
• Own U.S. international tax calculations and processes (GILTI, FDII, FTC, Pillar 2, BEAT) and review related filings.
• Prepare quarterly and annual international tax provisions and monitor changes in tax law.
• Conduct tax research and document well-supported positions for audits and reviews.
• Support global transfer pricing, including intercompany agreements and documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, treasury, legal, GTM, engineering, product, and operations to optimize tax positions.
• Lead global tax planning, modeling, and multi-jurisdictional compliance and audits.
• Manage external advisors, monitor deliverables, and oversee budgets.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the tax function.
