Job summary

Chainlink Labs seeks a highly skilled Tax Manager with deep U.S. international tax expertise to support a fast-paced, blockchain-focused business. This remote, global role partners with finance, accounting, treasury, legal, and product teams to drive compliant tax planning and mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in U.S. international tax, strong research capability, and excellent communication skills to translate complex tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of U.S. international tax and global advisory/compliance experience.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. international tax rules and related reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities; able to form well-supported tax positions and document them clearly.
• Proven ability to operate independently, take ownership of complex workstreams, and make sound judgments in ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Experience coordinating external tax advisors, managing deliverables, and overseeing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Support go-to-market efforts with practical global tax guidance on novel or complex matters.
• Own U.S. international tax calculations and processes (e.g., GILTI, FDII, FTC, Pillar 2, BEAT) and review filings.
• Prepare quarterly and annual international tax provisions and monitor tax law changes.
• Conduct extensive tax research and prepare documentation for reviews and audits.
• Support global transfer pricing documentation and TP policy compliance.
• Partner with finance, accounting, treasury, legal, GTM, engineering, and operations teams to optimize tax positions.
