Job summary

optiBPO is seeking a Global Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee international supply chain activities, from purchase orders to final delivery, with a focus on reducing disruptions and improving data accuracy. You will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments and compliant documentation.

The role emphasizes ERP data integrity, cross-functional collaboration across countries, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fully remote US shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, import/export, or international transportation.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, International Business, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of international shipping processes and transportation modes, including ocean and air freight.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Experience with ERP, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international purchase orders from order placement through final delivery.
• Monitor supplier production schedules, order readiness, lead times and delivery commitments.
• Communicate with global suppliers regarding order status, pricing, and delays.
• Maintain purchase order and supplier data within the ERP system.
• Identify supplier risks and escalate issues affecting inventory or production.
• Coordinate international ocean, air, truck, and courier shipments with forwarders.
• Monitor shipments and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Support import/export documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Prepare regular reports on open orders, inbound shipments, and supply risks.
• Investigate discrepancies and drive continuous improvement in logistics.
