Job summary

IMI is a global engineering company specializing in fluid and motion control. We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing strategy for Life Science and other sectors, reporting to the Global Procurement Director in Palmer, MA.

You will drive supplier selection, negotiations, and risk management to meet quality, cost, and lead-time targets. Remote-first role with occasional onsite support at our Palmer facility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business supply chain management or engineering.
CSCP or CIPS certification is a plus.
Experience with global procurement and strategic sourcing.
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy purchasing strategy for assigned commodities.
Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships.
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, quality, and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations and procurement.
Develop risk mitigation for continuity of supply.
Ensure purchased goods meet quality standards.
Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities.
Maintain procurement records and report to senior management.
