Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director, Global Security to lead security strategy and programs protecting employees and assets worldwide. You will drive enterprise risk management, physical security, crisis response, and executive protection while coordinating with EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations.

The role reports to the Senior Director of Global EHS and is fully remote, with 40–60% travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global security strategy and operations across regions.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models aligned to priorities.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and asset protection.
• Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive escalation.
• Define executive protection strategies and travel security aligned with Danaher protocols.
• Collaborate with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
