Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors is seeking a Hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a fast-growing, PE-backed international SaaS firm. This is a fully remote role with periodic meetings in the North Jersey/NYC area.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, GAAP revenue recognition, cash flow, budgeting, audits, and strategic partnering with leadership on financial planning and operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on controllership experience in mid-sized companies, preferably in PE-backed, international SaaS organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of onshore and offshore accountants.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting.
• Manage SaaS revenue recognition and GAAP compliance.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external advisors.
• Partner with leadership on financial planning and operational initiatives.
