KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Global Controller for a PE-backed SaaS company with remote work options. The role pays $175,000–$200,000 with bonus and equity opportunities.

The candidate will lead accounting globally, own the close process, ASC 606 revenue recognition, audits, and intercompany eliminations, while guiding ERP upgrades and potential M&A integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, including SaaS environments.
• Controller or Assistant Controller level in a middle-market setting.
• Hands-on ASC 606 and subscription revenue expertise.
• Global/multi-entity accounting with audit experience.
• PE-backed and M&A exposure is highly regarded.
• CPA preferred and strong leadership with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team across multiple functions.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close for US and international entities.
• Manage consolidated reporting, multi-currency accounting and intercompany eliminations.
• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription/SaaS and deferred revenue.
• Oversee annual audit, internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner with CFO on Board, PE sponsor and lender reporting.
• Drive system, process, and close improvements; support M&A integration.
• Evaluate and upgrade the accounting/ERP environment.

GLOBAL CONTROLLER | PE-BACKED SAAS – REMOTE

$175 - $200K, plus bonus and equity

A growing PE-backed global SaaS company is seeking a Global Controller to lead its accounting organization and help scale the finance function

The Role

• Lead and develop the accounting team across Accounting, Billing and AR/Collections
• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close across U.S. and international entities
• Lead consolidated financial reporting, multi-currency accounting and intercompany eliminations
• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription/SaaS revenue and deferred revenue
• Lead the annual audit and oversee accounting policies and internal controls
• Partner with the CFO on Board, PE sponsor and lender reporting
• Drive systems, process and close improvements
• Support potential M&A and post-acquisition integration
• Help evaluate and ultimately upgrade the company's current accounting/ERP environment

Ideal Profile

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong SaaS/software industry experience required
• Controller or Assistant Controller-level experience, ideally within a middle-market environment
• Hands-on ASC 606 and subscription revenue experience
• Multi-entity/global accounting experience
• Proven experience leading the close and external audit
• ERP implementation or systems transformation experience a plus
• PE-backed and M&A experience a strong plus
• CPA preferred
• Hands-on leader who can operate strategically while remaining close to the details
