Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors is helping a fast-growing international SaaS firm hire an hands-on Interim Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations. This is a fully remote role.

The successful candidate will mentor a global team, own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, manage GAAP-compliant revenue recognition, and partner with leadership on financial planning and strategic initiatives. Prior PE-backed SaaS experience with post-acquisition accounting is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on controllership experience in mid-sized companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of onshore and offshore accountants
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting
• Manage SaaS revenue recognition and GAAP compliance
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external advisors
• Partner with leadership on financial planning and operational initiatives
