Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a senior risk management professional based in Ohio with the ability to work from the Dublin, Ohio office for regular meetings. This role manages domestic and international casualty programs, captive activities, and RMIS administration.

You will collaborate with actuaries on reserves, prepare budgets, and lead risk mitigation across contracts and third-party relationships. Strong communication, leadership skills, and SAP/Origami experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field such as Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years risk management experience and captive experience, preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions; interpret laws, regulations, contracts.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to plan and organize resources; lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages domestic and international primary casualty insurance programs and non-products umbrella; renewals, underwriter interactions, policy terms negotiation.
• Directs brokers in renewal strategies, carriers, coverage and premiums; builds markets relationships.
• Supports captive insurance company operations and captive reinsurance arrangements.
• Works with actuaries on quarterly reserve analysis and reports results to stakeholders.
• Prepares insurance program costs, budgets/forecasts, and historical loss data; suggests budget allocations.
• Acts as RMIS system administrator; supports due diligence for potential acquisitions and integrations.
