Job summary

Our client, a leader in Healthcare, seeks a Manager, Global Risk Management to oversee global insurance programs across domestic and international operations. This role partners with brokers, carriers, actuaries and leadership to support captive insurance, reinsurance, reserve analysis and acquisition diligence.

The position participates in budgeting and forecasting while communicating risk matters clearly to executives. Remote US-based, visa sponsorship unavailable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of risk management and captive insurance experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret laws, regulations, and contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial matters clearly to management.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members while driving results.
• Comfortable interacting with senior leadership and articulating the value of Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage domestic and international casualty insurance programs, including policy renewals and regulatory compliance.
• Direct insurance brokers on renewal strategy and carrier negotiations.
• Provide day-to-day support for the captive insurance company and manage reinsurance arrangements.
• Partner with actuaries on quarterly reserve analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and forecasts related to insurance programs.
• Conduct due diligence for acquisitions, analyze risk exposures, and integrate businesses into insurance programs.
• May oversee direct reports and provide leadership within the risk management function.
