Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Control Electronics to lead a global Product Management team across our electronics platforms. The role emphasizes P&L ownership, roadmap execution, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers.

The position is fully remote in the United States with ~20% travel, reporting to the VP, Product Management. A Bachelor’s in engineering or related field and 10+ years in product management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field
• 10+ years' experience in Product Management within drives, controls and HVAC
• Proven experience overseeing Product Managers or cross-functional teams
• Strong track record of owning product P&L, delivering growth and profitability
• Deep understanding of PLM and NPD processes
• Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams
• Travel requirement: ~20% (higher if remotely based)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a global Product Management team
• Translate market strategies into actionable product plans and priorities
• Own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and investment performance
• Drive execution of product roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through obsolescence
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers
• Review business cases and major product investments for strong returns
• Leverage customer insights to improve the portfolio
