Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Control Electronics to lead a global team of Product Managers, translate market strategies into product plans, and drive portfolio growth across electronics platforms. This is a fully remote role with travel to Copeland sites as needed.

The role requires 10+ years in Product Management within drives, controls and HVAC, a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, and strong P&L ownership with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years' experience in Product Management within drives, controls and HVAC.
• Proven experience overseeing Product Managers or cross-functional teams.
• Strong track record of owning product P&L, delivering product growth and profitability and managing multi-product or platform portfolios.
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and new product development (NPD) processes.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with engineering teams.
• Travel requirement: ~20% (higher if remotely based).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global Product Management team.
• Translate market strategies into actionable product plans and priorities.
• Own portfolio growth, profitability, pricing, and investment performance.
• Drive execution of product roadmaps aligned to business and customer needs.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through obsolescence.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Market Managers to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Review business cases and major product investments to ensure strong returns and competitive differentiation.
