Ball Corporation is seeking a Director of Global Payroll Operations to lead and shape Ball’s payroll strategy across regions. You will drive governance, automation, and service delivery to ensure accurate and compliant payroll.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Legal, Audit, and Compliance while aligning operations with company growth and regulatory changes. The position offers a remote work option with occasional travel to Ball facilities, and eligibility for annual incentive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive global payroll management or shared services leadership.
• Expertise in global labor laws, tax regulations and payroll governance.
• Experience managing global payroll teams, vendors and compliance in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive payroll transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global payroll strategy with governance and compliance.
• Standardize processes using automation, AI and self-service tools.
• Lead vendor management and cost optimization while ensuring service quality.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to drive payroll excellence and employee experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance and IT on payroll initiatives.
