Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Director, Global Payroll Operations to define and execute our global payroll strategy, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery worldwide. You will lead a high-performing team, drive governance, automation, and cost-effective service delivery across regions.

Remote work is possible, with periodic travel to Ball facilities; the role requires strong collaboration with Legal, Audit, and HR, plus experience managing vendors and regulatory payroll compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive global payroll management or shared services leadership.
• Experience with global labor laws, tax regulations and payroll governance.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive payroll transformation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a global payroll strategy with governance and compliance.
• Lead a high-performing payroll organization across regions and vendors.
• Drive automation, standardization and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
• Partner with Legal, Audit and Compliance to strengthen controls and risk management.
• Manage budget, performance metrics and effective stakeholder communication.
