Job summary

Armada is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Payroll to own payroll end-to-end for US multi-state and international populations. You will manage tax compliance, equity payroll, and cross-border payroll infrastructure, working with Rippling, Deel, and local providers.

The role is remote-based within the continental US and requires building scalable processes and headcount as needed. You will partner with Finance, Legal, and People Operations to ensure accuracy, controls, and timely payments, while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on payroll experience with end-to-end ownership of US multi-state payroll.
• Experience administering Rippling with EOR populations.
• Strong knowledge of nexus, SUI/SDI, local levies, and payroll filings across many states.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for US employees and international populations.
• Manage tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
• Lead expansion into new states and countries with payroll readiness planning.
• Oversee equity payroll mechanics and data integrity.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll journal entries and month-end closes.
