Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Global Packaging Manager to lead worldwide packaging sourcing and category strategy. You will partner with Operations, Quality, R&D, NPI, and Supplier Quality to optimize the end-to-end packaging supply base and drive cost, quality, sustainability, and risk outcomes across regions.

The role focuses on ensuring product availability globally and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Packaging Engineering, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with packaging materials.
• Proven ability to develop category strategies and negotiate cost and service improvements.
• Experience managing supplier performance with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills for executive-ready sourcing plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category strategies for packaging materials.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and R&D to support new product introductions.
• Drive total cost of ownership improvements through market analysis and supplier consolidation.
• Monitor market trends and supply risks to ensure business continuity.
