Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Packaging Operations to lead the strategy and execution of packaging for commercial products worldwide.

The role ensures compliant, timely delivery of products and strong vendor management with external packaging operations partners. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in pharmaceutical packaging, global supply chains, and cross-functional collaboration, driving cost optimization and product availability while maintaining cGMP/GDP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences, engineering or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in global supply chain and manufacturing in pharma/biotech.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-launch packaging activities for US and global markets.
• Act as main contact with commercial packaging vendors and CMOs.
• Collaborate with launch teams to meet post-launch goals.
• Oversee packaging operations to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement with vendors.
