Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in the United States is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Biochemicals to lead the global sourcing strategy for high‑purity biochemicals and drive cost, quality and supply chain continuity across Operations, R&D and QA.

You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate agreements, manage spend analysis, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risk and enable scalable manufacturing in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in procurement/sourcing of chemicals, biochemicals or biologics with strategic sourcing.
• 5+ years managing biochemical reagent categories (antibodies, antigens, enzymes, beads).
• Knowledge of biological reagents used in immunoassays and FDA‑regulated products.
• Proven ability in RFIs/RFPs, spend benchmarking and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, define, and execute global category strategies for biochemicals.
• Evaluate suppliers, lead RFIs/RFPs/auctions, negotiate agreements and drive adoption.
• Perform spend analysis, market intel, and report savings against objectives.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPI, Quality to guide supplier selection.
• Apply Lean/Kaizen tools to improve cost, quality, delivery, and cash flow.
