Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to logistics coordinators and freight managers from a home office. The role involves handling global and domestic shipments, documentation, and carrier/client communications.

The ideal candidate has strong logistics knowledge, proficiency with TMS/WMS/ERP, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a logistics support, freight forwarding, or supply chain administration role.
Strong understanding of international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology.
Proficiency with logistics software (TMS, WMS, ERP) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free home workspace.
A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field is preferred.
Experience with customs procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide remote administrative and operational support to logistics teams managing global and domestic freight.
Coordinate shipment bookings, scheduling, and tracking.
Manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients via email, phone, and online platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues such as delays, damage, or documentation errors.
Maintain accurate records in the logistics management system (LMS).
Monitor shipment progress and identify potential risks or complications.
Prepare reports on shipment status, performance, and logistics metrics.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure end-to-end logistics execution.
Stay informed about international trade regulations and best practices.
