Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation and related logistics for internal and external customers and suppliers. You will work with the Logistics Project Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize daily transportation and shipment planning.

You will monitor freight estimates, logistics plans, and cost tracking, ensuring on-time pickup/delivery while maintaining cost KPIs. This office-based role requires collaboration with carriers and internal teams five days per

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Transportation, Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.
2+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning, Deployment/Replenishment Planning, or related functions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Logistics Project Manager and cross-functional supply chain teams on daily transportation planning.
Maintain freight estimates, logistics plans, and cost tracking.
Ensure orders/shipments are optimized using the TMS and other tools for on-time delivery.
Coordinate with internal groups and external carriers to meet service level objectives.
Monitor data flows between ERP, TMS, and project management systems for successful execution.
Lead carrier performance management programs and provide reporting and recommendations.
