Job summary

International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ) seeks a Vice President of International Development to lead international growth across new markets and expand existing franchises.

The role requires sourcing partners, negotiating development agreements, and driving market-entry strategy in collaboration with internal teams and franchisees. The position supports remote work within the United States with up to 70% travel, and reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education and experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, or Commerce.
• 12+ years of senior level experience in international franchising, including development, franchise finance, and transactions such as M&A.
• QSR or fast casual experience preferred, ideally across multiple global concepts at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the international development process across market entries, site approvals, design, and first store openings in new markets.
• Source, diligence, and negotiate development agreements with brand partners and franchisees.
• Manage market planning, real estate, and capital models to drive growth and returns.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure compliance and execution.
