Job summary

iFIT seeks a highly experienced Customs Import Manager to own and manage global import compliance, with a primary focus on U.S. customs clearance. You will be the internal expert, liaising with authorities, managing broker partnerships, and updating compliance SOPs as trade laws evolve.

This remote role supports multiple regions globally and requires leadership in audit processes, HTS classifications, and cross-border trade compliance to ensure shipments clear accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in import, customs compliance, or trade management.
• Strong understanding of U.S. customs rules and tariffs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize import/export processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with customs authorities and brokers to ensure timely clearance.
• Develop and maintain compliance SOPs and training.
• Lead compliance initiatives across regions including US, Europe, UK, Canada and Australia.
