Job summary

Meyer is seeking an Import Compliance Manager to ensure import operations align with U.S. Customs requirements and trade laws. The role oversees HTS classifications, broker relationships, and end-to-end container shipments from origin to destination, including bonded warehousing and duty drawback recovery.

The ideal candidate brings deep trade compliance expertise and hands-on container logistics experience to support compliant, efficient import processes.

Qualifications

• HTS classification experience required.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and trade laws.
• Experience with bonded warehouse operations and duty drawback.
• Familiar with ERP/TMS systems and trade software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HTS classification accuracy across products.
• Manage end-to-end container import operations and broker coordination.
• Ensure CBP compliance and ISF requirements are met.
• Maintain import records and prepare for audits.
• Support bonded warehouse activities and duty drawback filings.
• Analyze landed cost impacts of tariff changes.
