Job summary

Imperative Logistics seeks a capable Import Supervisor to lead the U.S. Import team, ensuring compliant, efficient customs clearance and top-tier customer service. The role oversees daily import activities, develops team members, and drives performance while aligning with regulatory and company standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in import/logistics and 2+ years of supervision, with strong knowledge of U.S. Customs and PGA requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or GED acceptable with experience.
• Minimum 3 years in import, customs brokerage, or international logistics.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing U.S. import team.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, PGA requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements in operations.
• Build relationships with customers, government agencies, and partners.
• Oversee billing, documentation, and internal control processes.
