Ontic, a leading aerospace OEM, is seeking a Global Commodity Specialist to lead strategic sourcing across core categories and support cost, supplier performance, and supply continuity.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality worldwide, manage RFx processes, negotiate with suppliers, and apply PPV/VA/VE analytics. Travel ~30%; remote work structure; 3–7 years in manufacturing sourcing required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing; aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience managing RFx (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs).
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management.
• Analytical cost modeling, PPV, VA/VE, or should-cost analysis.
• Understanding of contract management, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes including supplier identification and evaluation.
• Develop and deploy global commodity strategies across Ontic locations.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through PPV, VA/VE, and should-cost analyses.
• Manage supplier agreements and contract lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams.
