Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Global Commodity Specialist to join our team. You will lead strategic sourcing projects and manage RFx processes across multiple commodity families, partnering with engineering and operations to drive cost competitiveness and supply continuity.

You will develop global commodity strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, and monitor performance across quality, delivery, and cost. Remote work is supported for eligible U.S. states, with travel about 30%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
3–7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing.
Experience with RFx processes (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) preferred.
Aerospace/Defense experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute strategic sourcing projects under the Global Commodity Senior Manager.
Manage end-to-end RFx processes from supplier identification to award recommendations.
Support global sourcing initiatives including supplier consolidation and license support.
Develop and refine global commodity strategies and supplier agreements.
Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and service.
