Job summary

AEVEX Corp. seeks a VP, Business Development to drive revenue growth and pipeline expansion in U.S. government markets, including DoD and IC programs.

This senior leader will manage relationships with key defense acquisition offices and lead capture, proposals, and partnerships to position AEVEX for classified and rapid acquisition opportunities. The role demands executive-level briefings, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Engineering, Legal, and Program

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively increasing experience in Federal government or industry equivalent
• Established relationships within the Defense and Defense Adjacent marketplace
• Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level briefings on pipeline health, market trends and growth opportunities
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand UAV solutions in U.S. Government markets
• Lead capture management activities for priority programs, including opportunity shaping and win strategy development
• Represent the company at government, defense and industry forums to strengthen visibility
• Drive strategic partnerships and teaming arrangements to enhance market access
• Oversee proposal strategy, pricing reviews, and bid/no-bid decisions
