Job summary

Golden Gate University seeks an Executive Director for the School of Emerging Technology to lead two-continents programs from a fully remote base. The role drives global growth, academic excellence, and industry relevance across AI-focused offerings in SF and Singapore.

You will build industry partnerships, launch new programs, and stand up the Center for Applied AI, while representing the School to technology companies, investors, and public partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership in technology with scale-building.
• Credible AI/Emerging tech network and visibility.
• Proven track record of managing budgets and leading teams.
• Strong communication and public presence representing the School externally.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, launch, and continuous improvement of degree and non-degree programs in applied AI.
• Drive global enrollment, revenue targets, and industry relevance across programs.
• Build partnerships delivering projects, talent pipelines, sponsorships, and funding.
• Launch new programs including executive education and corporate training.
• Stand up the Center for Applied AI and oversee its programming.
• Represent the School to tech companies, investors, government, and global partners.
