Job summary

Orbiss Inc. is seeking an Associate Accountant in New York to support daily accounting tasks, AP/AR processing, and detailed reconciliations. You will maintain vendor files, post payments, and assist with month-end close in a fast-paced advisory and tax environment.

Strong Excel skills and bilingual French capability are required. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least two years in an international accounting firm, and a proven ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in an international accounting firm.
• Proficiency with Excel including advanced functions and data analysis.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively.
• Autonomous yet collaborative with strong teamwork.
• Commitment to integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in French.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting missions such as posting and reconciliations.
• Entering AP and AR invoices.
• AP/AR reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accounting software integrations and vendor files.
• Posting vendor payments and month-end tasks.
• Maintaining client databases and reporting analyses.
