Job summary

Orbiss is seeking an Associate Accountant to support daily accounting tasks and maintain client and vendor files. The role includes processing AP/AR invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate posting to our accounting system while upholding data integrity.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, at least 2 years in an international firm, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work autonomously yet collaborate with the team. French language is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in an international accounting firm.
• Excel proficiency with advanced data analysis.

• Proficiency in French.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting missions.
• Entering AP and AR invoices.
• AP/AR reconciliation.
• Maintaining accounting software integrations.
• Posting vendors payments.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Credit card reconciliation.
• Assisting with month-end closing preparation.
• Maintaining client’s database.
• Maintaining vendor’s files up to date.
• Posting entries to accounting software utilizing imports.
• Analyze differences and provide recommendations.
• Posting and reconciling entries from reimbursement tools.
• Report analyses.
