Job summary

SSP Innovations, LLC is seeking a Support Specialist II to serve as a technical expert and customer advocate for the 3-GIS product suite within the Esri ecosystem. You will diagnose complex software issues and guide customers through best practice workflows.

The role involves working directly with client accounts, collaborating with internal teams, and mentoring new staff while contributing to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3-4 years in customer service, technical support, or GIS-related roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, ArcGIS Server/Enterprise, Esri Portal, geoprocessing and data analysis tools, 3-GIS Web and Mobile, Python, and database tools (PGAdmin, SQL Developer, SQL Server Manager); Jira.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer support and troubleshoot client issues with 3-GIS software and Esri products.
• Act as a trusted advisor for customer accounts and educate clients on best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the 3-GIS stack and Esri software.
• Configure and assist with upgrades of 3-GIS Solutions and Esri software.
• Test new software functionality and provide feedback to Product/Development teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Development, and PMO to ensure timely solutions.
