Job summary

Magnolia River is seeking a Software Technician to support GIS software, testing, configuration, and data editing across Esri/GeoCurrent tools. This role offers hands-on experience in software support and GIS projects for internal teams and clients.

The ideal candidate is early in their career or has broader technical interests, with strong communication and an eye for detail; ability to work from office or remotely supports flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography or related field with software experience.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS suite and GIS data editing.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software support, testing, configuration, and data editing.
• Perform Geodatabase editing and GIS analyses using Esri/GeoCurrent tools.
• Install and configure Esri, GeoCurrent, and third-party software.
• Provide client technical support for GeoCurrent and Esri products.
• Track daily activity and report to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and assist with additional duties.
