Job summary
Lithosconsultants is seeking a Full-Time GIS Specialist to support projects across the Western United States, reporting to one of three regions: Rocky Mountain, Pacific Northwest, or West Coast. The role focuses on spatial analysis, geodatabase management, and cartographic production for technical reports and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in GIS or related field, 1 year of GIS experience, and strong proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of GIS mapping, cartography, geoprocessing, and relational databases.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and Esri ecosystem.
- Experience with ArcGIS Online and data sharing.
- Experience with Survey123/Field Maps or similar field data tools.
- Strong attention to detail in cartography and data QA/QC.
Responsibilities
- Create spatial data products and maps using templates and workflows.
- Perform basic spatial queries and geoprocessing tasks.
- Develop and maintain geodatabases for projects.
- QA/QC spatial and tabular data for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize project data and naming conventions across projects.
- Assist with field data integration (Survey123, Field Maps).
- Produce client-ready cartographic outputs meeting standards.
- Manage tasks independently across concurrent projects.
- Provide GIS support and troubleshoot for team members.
- Identify workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
